Our shared movement vocabulary was like a playground… we ran, swung, slid, and sweat all over it.
We curiously and lovingly knocked into each other with calculated force. We created and destroyed over and over again.
Using a lavish amount of contemporary partnering, idiosyncratic movement invention, and influence from pop-culture, Nikki and the Noise makes nostalgic, theatrical dance works.
